Hi,

AD is very ‘sensitive’ when it comes to authentication. We had a similar issue and the main cause was n time difference. Make sure that your system time is the same on both Observium and AD and make sure that your PHP time zone is set correctly. Also increase your PHP session timeout.

PS: Best way is to make use of an NTP server.

Hope this helps!

Subject: [Observium] Web Session Expired

Hoping someone could point me in the right direction. When I click on the Temperature Under Health on the main heading I get a red "No Auth" on all the mini graphs. I also  I see "Session Expired, Please Login Again!" when I roll over the device name on that same page.  This happen every time I perform this action no matter if I have just logged in.

This only happen for Temperature under the main heading. I don't see the behavior on any other graph. Even when I go into any device click Health and then Temperature I can see the graph and do not get the "No Auth".

I am using ldap against AD for my authentication.  I've looked at the apache logs and don't see any glaring issues. PHP and Apache should have defaults.  I sess the sessions in /var/lib/php/session/ being created. Any suggestions on troubleshooting this odd behavior? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thanks,

Chip
