You should setup filters to remove non-essential messages. http://docs.observium.org/config_options/#syslog-settings
Typically, I just log into the mysql database and type "delete from syslog;" and it removes everything. You can accomplish this using housekeeping.

Hi,
How can I empty or delete Syslog showing up.
I leaves all category during my tests and I have 45k logs during the week end.
I tried a maintenance but it didn’t delete anything.
Thanks
