Hello Adam,
That’s what I have gathered from my readings.
How often do you merge stable : Monthly ? Quarterly ?
Do you already have a planned released date for next stable version ?
Thanks.

The stable train is intended for people who are scared of the realtime updates.
If you want those, you need to use trunk.
Stable is merged periodically, depending upon how many recent major/structural changes there have been

I have acquired a license for a professional edition, and I chose to remain on the stable train. According to your website, I should be available to upgrade at least on a weekly basis :
« The Subscription Edition is released instable

trains using our SVN-based update system. It includes the new alerting system with advanced features, the traffic accounting system, routing protocols and additional future Service Provider and Enterprise-targeted features. It receives receive rapid bug fixes and feature improvements thanks to the SVN-based updates system.»
So, If I understand this correctly, I should switch to the current train to upgrade to the latest available revision ?
Thank you for your explanations.

No, that's community edition.
Stable is merged every now and again, when we've fixed/added a bunch of things.
