The way you'd do this would depend upon the metrics/statuses returned by your device.

Monitoring input voltage would work, as would "input source" as in the previous email.

You of course need the device you're monitoring to stay alive to report these things, and for the devices/systems involved in alerting to remain alive (routers, email servers, etc).

What would be the best way to measure for a power outage?

I see that there is a sensor for voltage. Would a Min Warn value trigger it on time to send a alert?
