We code to support subscribers, not to pander to the whims of people who don't contribute. Subscription is really about supporting development, not paying for something that already exists.

In seriousness, I'm actually quite strict about ignoring anyone who says stuff like "we'll subscribe if you just...". Subscription doesn't entitle people to make demands, threatening not to subscribe certainly doesn't either.

Yes, it'd be a nice addition and we've been thinking about this for quite a while - but it's not on the immediate roadmap and other things are in front...
As always there are ways of prioritizing things getting done of course ;-)
I'll put it on my shorter term "think about this again" list anyway.
