Hi,
All latest issues with down devices (as I know), are related with the bug in net-snmp.
See FAQ: http://www.observium.org/docs/faq/#all-my-hosts-seem-down-to-observium-snmp-...
try to remove all .index files from MIB dirs:||
||sudo rm -rf /var/lib/snmp/mib_indexes/* | ||||sudo ||rm -f /opt/observium/mibs/*/.index sudo rm -f /opt/observium/*/.index|
If this does not help, please send debug output for down device: ./poller.php -d -m system -h <device> On 01.03.16 2:12, Cameron Murray wrote:
Guys,
Overnight we received a lot of alerts for device going offline however these were false positives. We’ve found that the poller is having issues connecting to some devices.
Brocade ICX Switch Cisco 2900 series RouterOS
SNMP is working via snmpwalk on the machine running obs and also from other test locations however the poller times out on them. We’ve reset the configuration for the devices in obs however access still fails. Access appears to come and go. We’ve confirmed obs is up to date and have rebooted the services.
