Strange.  Once an automounter issue was fixed, it automagically stopped sending device down alerts.  Then it did it’s poll.

Hello,

      I might be to late but this happened to me and I had to apt -remove --purge snmp snmpd and then reboot the server and then apt -y install snmp snmpd then you have to edit the snmpd.conf file and put your info there ..... I haven't had an issue since then.
