Hi Toky,
Unless you're absolutely sure you can undo what you did manually to start afresh, it's probably best to reinstall the entire machine. You can use the SVN credentials again on the new machine without issues.

The install script does a slightly better install, creating an observium user to own the rrds and run the poller. It’s probably permissions, the rrd directory and all contents must be owned by the user which runs the poller. You can’t poll as root, as it’ll break instructions.
