Hello,
I am looking for a tool that can allow me to monitorĀ customer's physical servers as well as my virtual servers (I have some, not too many Linux/CPanel servers and Windows VPS).
This is a list of the tools I have been recommended along with Observium https://nodequery.com/ [1] sar newrelic naemon nagios Icinga
I think nagios and similars are too much for me, however I don“t know if Observium has all what I need, can you help me with that?
Some of the features I need are:
- Load/performance monitoring applications like Apache, MySQL, Exim
(email)
The apps system will let you monitor these via the Unix Agent. Apache, MySQL and Exim already have monitoring scripts.
- Exim queque size (for preventing spam issues)
This is already monitored by the Exim app.
- Generate user logins for my customers (so they can see graphics of
their servers)
If you create users with a lower than 5 level, it will only have access to devices, ports and bills you give it access to.
- Access from mobile
Observium's interface works from mobile, but it can be a little cramped. It works best on newer devices with higher resolution screens. It works pretty well on tablets.
