Hi Mike,
Sorry for my late reaction.
I tested snmpwalk myself but I beleave the device/software is
somewhat buggy. The snmpwalk gives me timeouts at random points and the cpu of the device goed to 100%
So we have to resolve this first. Cisco TAC is the next stop for
us 😊.
If we get this resolved we will get back to you…
Best regards,
Jorgo Schmitz

Hi Jorgo,
better if you provide full snmp dump from device as:
snmpbulkwalk -v2c -c <community> --hexOutputLength=0 -ObentxU <hostname> .1 > myagent.snmpwalk
snmpbulkwalk -v2c -c <community> --hexOutputLength=0 -ObentxU <hostname> .1.3.6.1.4.1 >> myagent.snmpwalk
and much better if you provide temporary snmp access to device,
can limit access from ip 77.222.50.30

What is the sysObjectID and sysDescr for this device?
You can get these with:
snmpget -v2c -c <community> <ip> sysObjectID.0 sysDescr.0
Adam.

Subject: [Observium] Cisco IE-1000
Hello all,
I have a question regarding Cisco IE-1000-4P2S-LM switch. With following specs:
Image : ie1000-universalk9-mz.spa.1.8.0.bin
Version : 1.8.0
Chipset ID : VSC7428
Board Type : IE-1000-4P2S-LM
Port Count : 6
Product : Cisco IE1000 Switch
Code Revision : f61c61e+
Is it a supported device by observium? Because observium does not seem to be recognize the device correctly. It is also does not recognized as Cisco. Does anyone has any idea how to resolve this?
Kind regards,
