Why reply yes if the rest of your sentence means no?
In any case this is exactly why I asked you to paste it. :>
Also, by "looks fine" I meant "wtf, polling every 3 minutes?".

Yes, that's what I get when I do 'crontab -l' as the root user.

Looks fine... And this is in /etc/crontab? Or in another file?
You don't need the php and python in front .. not sure if it works like that without a path?

Here they are. Prior it was root for everything, and I did not specify the program to run with.

Please paste your cron entries in an e-mail.

Thank you for your response!! Crontab is running as root. The rrd's are placed in the /opt/observium/rrd folder. The owner of that folder is www-data. All of the subfolders are owned by root. The current permissions on the rrd folder is 755 www-data www-data. What do you suggest? Should I run the cronjob as www-data? Or should I change the permissions on the rrd folder to 775? Or both?

Permissions problem.
The poller does't generate graphs, it puts data into RRDs.

Sorry if this has been asked already. I have scrolled thru the posts but I haven't come across the answer to my question yet. When I run ./poller-wrapper.py manually it works fine; I get graphing data for most of my devices, and the graphs show up. But if I let cron run it, nothing shows up? What am I missing?
It's a clean build of Ubuntu 12.04, and Observium 0.13.9.4471.
Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated. Yes, I'm a newb. :-)
