Sorry, but I don't see any attached graphs. I do believe that Cisco memory graphs are working for other people, just not for me. When I go to graphs, system, all I see is processors and device uptime.

Not sure where to start troubleshooting and/or correcting this. I should also note that I am using the Turnkey Linux appliance.

Hi list,

Sorry if this had been asked before, but I'm unable to browse the
mailing list archives.

I have set up syslog parsing with Rsyslogd, like documented [1]. The
syslog.php script does receive the logs and saves them in the
database. Parsing logs from both Cisco Catalyst (IOS) and Cisco Nexus
switches, I discovered that the NXOS logs are parsed incorrectly (see
screenshot [2]).

Does Observium support NXOS logs, or do I have to change something to
make it as perfect as with IOS logs?

I have various Cisco devices ( catalyst switches, ios routers, ios-xe,
etc), but none of them are showing any memory usage details in observium. I
was surprised by this as observium did a remarkable job of recognizing and
displaying information for things that most snmp tools do not, Qnap for
example. It does recognize my Cisco devices and reports back on just about
everything, but memory. Other tools I tried, such as Manageengine, PRTG,
etc reported the memory with no issue. So, I'm skeptical that there is
anything wrong with my snmp setup.

I would really love to get memory usage for my Cisco devices. If anyone has
any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Thanks

Hello

My setup does give me memory usage,

the memory graphs under "Graphs" “Memory”

The attached graph is from a 7606, but all my Cisco kit seems to graph memory

Hi Don,

please see attached for a recent Catalyst switch memory graph:

The Cisco memory graphing function has been working for several years now.

Hope this helps

Darren
