Hi,
We don't currently track the discards rate /delta, as it's quite database intensive, and we already have issues scaling the ports table!
(Tracking this would require 4/6 new fields in the ports table!)
Adam.

On the 7793 we try to create a check that alert if the interface discards TX errors on our Nexus switch more than 0 per sec.
This error is real, we see it on Observium graphs (Device->Port->Error->Discards TX ) and on the switch’s CLI too.
We created this check but looks like it doesn’t work:
ifOutDiscards_rate notequals 0
We tried it with “gt 1” instead of "notequals 0” without result. :(
In an another check the ”ifInErrors_rate” is working, but the ifOutDiscards_rate not.
Picture is attached.
What we did wrong?
