The further away your database is, the slower *EVERY* database query will be, and the slower everything else will be.

The database should be as close to the web ui as possible, and the pollers shouldn’t be too far away either.

I see that Observium supports remote database, recently when i was thinking how to autobackup database, i came accross to the idea that i could use remote db functionality to send db data to some centralized location.

Has anybode tried to use remote db for Observium ?
