It’s a good idea to use the includepkgs= argument to the repo so that you only pull in what you want from the IUS repo.
Not everything they have is compatible or desirable when you’ve got an EL/EPEL system plus other repos involved.
Sometimes other packages with loose dependency definitions will try to pull in other packages that will cause conflicts and install/upgrade failures/etc.
e.g. includepkgs=mod_php70u php70u*
