Please forget about this, really not important.
Thanks Laurence

That is the thing, they are not ignored so don't see why they should be not showing up. i.e there is some inconsistency here. On a switch that was restarted I am seeing the ports as down (in front page), on a switch that has not been rebooted they are not being showed on the front page.
Will the front page be like this forever or until I actually place these ports as ignore?
Thanks Laurence

It won't show ports that are ignored, or ports on devices which are ignored.

The indicators on the front page aren't related to the alerting system, they're what we had before the alerting system.
They're mostly just hardcoded conditions. In this case they show all ports which are up/down.

After a power outage, the front page (and Status Warnings and Notifications) is showing a Cisco device's Ports as Down, of all ports that have NO devices (workstations) connected.
The alert I have defined (taken from the example)
Port is enabled, but operationally down ifAdminStatus equals up ifOperStatus notequals up * ifType equals ethernetCsmacd
I have run the poller.php multiple times with no success.
Is there a default amount of time until these warnings will be cleared, is there a process that can be run to clear these alerts?
Thanks Laurence
