That's all crap added by someone who felt it necessary to add checking kunk to scripts, now apparently it doesn't work. I'll keep it in mind, still on vacation atm :)

Hi Tom,
I've applied some small fixes to the hddtemp and dmi scripts so they run under Ubuntu:
dmi (line 12): if [[ `head -c1 /dev/mem 2>&1 | awk '{print $1}'` != 'head:' ]]
--> double brackets
hddtemp (line 10): nc=`which nc.traditional`
--> Since nc has been replaced. Probably, it would be best to check if nc.traditional exists and if yes, us it instead of nc.
