I was struggling for a bit but I just got it going – I had to add the address for my Exchange server on the relayhost line and now I’m getting my alerts. I didn’t even see that line until today. Sheesh.

I find just installing postfix on its default config works pretty well. It'll relay mail out from observium and not do much else.

Hey all, I’ve been trying to get Observium to send alerts to my Exchange server. Wireshark on Exchange shows nothing so I just gave up, looked online and found a post from Adam saying to not use SMTP; he recommended using an MTA instead. Does Observium have a preferred MTA? Any to watch out for?
