[Observium] seems i got something broken with geolocation

during setup of distribution and partitioned poller, autodiscovery and mapquest I obviously did something wrong and messed up the geolocation feature - newly added devices are all only added to the default location.

/opt/observium/logs/db.log on all pollers gets filled with:

[2019/04/18 20:57:44 +0000] discovery.php(17511): Failed dbQuery (#1054 - Unknown column 'devices.location_id' in 'where clause'), Query: SELECT `device_id` FROM `devices` WHERE ( `devices`.`location_id` = '9')
