I am certainly a newbie yet and I am playing around with alerts. I created
a couple alerts that I would like to edit. I do not see a way to edit them.

There are "edit alert" and "edit conditions" buttons
on the alert checker navbar.

For your information, I had VM’s duplicating in the Devices / Virtual
machines using the community edition.

Now I am under the pro version and it’s working fine.

truncate vminfo;

Disabled vm detection a while ago, vm’s that vmotion usually don’t get
removed from source host so you end up with several identical vm’s.

VMware stuff isn't well supported (VMware stopped supporting  it properly
some time ago).

Still sounds like a bug maybe.
