The issue with centos isn't that it's centos, it's that by installing it, you're transporting your server 5 years into the past.
We rely on features from newer versions of PHP and rrdtool than typically provided by RHEL-derrived distros.

Doesn't the Observium website recommend Ubuntu? It doesn't make sense
to me to install your Observium on something that causes you more
