Hi Guys, If you just want info about what SNMP stuff is being pulled from an interface/port Observium already has that in the GUI! Click into the device, Click Ports, Click on the name of the port you want to check out, and then click on "Data" (next to "Create Bill" on the right hand side above the Traffic graphs). Cheers, Nathan

You already have that, it's called a Unix shell...

Just thinking out loud. A page in Observium that you could select a device and then from other dropdowns and checkboxes select different snmpwalk options. Press Ok and it gives you the raw output on the page. Help with troubleshooting and understanding what is being provided by a device via SNMP.

That's .. one vote total?
What's an snmpwalk troubleshooting gui?

I see what the issue is now. The Interface drop down in traffic accounting is populated by "ifDescr - ifAlias". The Calix E7 is not handing out ifAlias and the ifDescr are all blank. Hence why I am see " - " in the drop down. It might be worthwhile to add code that if "ifDescr" is blank or missing to use ifName, as that is populated by Calix. This might solve some other issues with that drop down being blank for other vendors.
On another note, plus 1 vote for an snmpwalk troubleshooting GUI in Observium.

Can you svn up? I remember seeing some Calix changes since 5736.

When adding a Calix E7 port to a customer in traffic accounting. All of the interfaces in the drop down are blank, so hard to figure out which one to select. A work around I have been doing is going to the switch port and clicking "Create Bill". Would like to add the ports in the traffic accounting area.
Some of the ports on the device:
