Any ideas if there are plans to extend this to monitor the resources inside the virtual machine itself?
For us, our VPS program is growing daily and unfortunately the control panel system (solusvm) lacks any good reporting tools to assist us in finding abusive users.
I am hoping to supplement its short comings by using Observium to handle all the monitoring and alerting.

Hi Lane,
It should work in the free version; I use it. It's a bit limited, what it does is:
- present you with a list of VMs on the machine (in a separate tab)
- in that list, show the VM name, number of CPUs and assigned memory.
Documentation is a bit scarce (that's actually one of the first bugs in our Jira, oops); what you need is either a certificate setup for libvirt (I don't know how this works, I've never done it) or a passwordless SSH key for the user running the poller to log in to the VM host box.
