Debian 7 is like 3 years out of security support. Are you sure you want to be running something with that much access on your network devices on it?
But yeah, PHP 7 has been a requirement for a while now...

You likely just need to update PHP to a recent 7.x release and it should work.
I'm sure there are lots of guides on installing PHP 7.x on Debian 7 around :)

After finishing the upgrade using the instructions on the website we were able to access the web interface just once. When we logged in the first time after the upgrade we received a message that the php version also must be updated.
