Was anyone else able to successfully request a wiki account?  I am still getting the permission error when I go the page that Adam provided.

Thanks,

Tristan

I tried that link, but I get this error:

Permissions errors

You do not have permission to create this user account, for the following reason:

The action you have requested is limited to users in the group: Administrators.

We disabled public wiki write access a few years ago when we started to get bot attacks.

You create an account here :

and then I have to manually enable it.

Adam,

I am sure that several people want to give back to Observium by improving the documentation.  What is the process for this?  I don't see a way to get a wiki account?

Thanks,

Tristan

Hey Guys,

I had some spare time, and decided to write up some more documentation on
alert-checkers for observium, and provide a whole bunch of example alerts
which could be adapted for your use:

Document: http://www.maartenmoerman.nl/?p=612

I have provided examples for:
 - Device down
 - Processor usage is above 80%
 - Memory usage is above 70%
 - State sensor is in ALERT state!
 - Fanspeed is above or under treshold
 - Traffic exceeds 85%
 - BGP Session down
 - Storage exceeds 85% of disk capacity
 - Port has encountered errors or discards
 - Port is enabled, but operationally down

Let me know if this is helpful and what you'd like to see added/improved.

Thanks,
Maarten
