Sorry - my bad.
I am so used to reading the Cisco output I misread the port settings output on observium as being the same. Of course up / down on observium is Admin / Operational, not PHY / Link as it is on sh ip int br.
I don't think there is a problem but I will double check again.
Thanks again Adam.
Ian

Hi,
Observium has been working very well over the past few months and now I want to begin tailoring it for our network specifically. We use an Ubuntu install as per the instructions and had no install problems.
On the overview page we get an orange warning for a non-ignored link that goes into the (Cisco) down/down state BUT NOT when they are up/down. Is this a setting, bug or feature? If it can be changed does anyone know how - I would like a warning for any link that goes down/down and up/down.
I have looked through the documentation, options and settings but find nothing. I also tried [alert][port][ifdown] as a long shot.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Ian
