This is an old question, but were anyone able to find HSRP-states in the database to use with alerts? Not syslog.

I don’t believe there is an HSRP tracker. It’s definitely not in the sensor entity type. Sensors are things like current, dBm, fan speed, power, state, temperature, voltage, etc. There’s a list of known metrics and attributes here: http://www.observium.org/wiki/Alerting_Metrics_and_Attributes Examples of values can be found in your MySQL database. *From: *<Pedrosi>, "Derek G." <pedrosi@millercanfield.com <mailto:pedrosi@millercanfield.com>> *Reply-To: *"Observium Network Observation System (observium@observium.org <mailto:observium@observium.org>)" <observium@observium.org <mailto:observium@observium.org>> *Date: *Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 12:14 PM *To: *"Observium Network Observation System (observium@observium.org <mailto:observium@observium.org>)" <observium@observium.org <mailto:observium@observium.org>> *Subject: *[Observium] HSRP event tracking Is there a way to add a checker for Cisco HSRP events?
