I ran the observium_agent and I have noticed the following output in the <<ipmitool-sensors>> part:

MySql: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)<<<nginx>>>

Please do note that the temperature and the voltage doesn’t appear in the Health drop down menu in the web interface,

Thanks,

Hi,

Sorry to bring this again. Now, ipmitool is working and the unix agent can read its output. How to make my Observium server collect the ipmitool/unix agent sensors output from other servers and display them?

Thanks,

lmsensors is used if your net-snmp supplies it.

Obviously lm-sensors has to work for that.

ipmi is used if you specify the bmc credentials in the device configuration, or if you add the ipmitool script to the unix agent.

Obviously "ipmitool" has to work for that.

Syslog is running. I will check the port part & feed you back. What about sensors? Any idea?

Are you sure rsyslog is running and listening on UDP 514?

Have you checked to see if you can access UDP 514 on your observium
server from your client server?

I would ensure that the basic functionality of a log server / client
worked before I started troubleshooting the observium part.
