Nick, I see the devicename notnull and I will use that, thanks for the tip

Can someone from observium please let us know if the documentation will ever be updated, and is there a “right way” to do this????

Thanks

Tony

Nick, thanks for the suggestion, but I am not even sure how to do that…the pulldown does not list a “not null”…am I looking in the wrong place?

Hi Tony,

I noticed that to.

I fixed that with "Device Hostname" -> "not null". :)

Kind Regards,

Hi, After upgrading to the latest CE version (quite a while ago), I noticed that the way alert checkers were created had changed.  My checkers from before were still there, however, I cannot modify them and creating new ones seems much different.

I have looked at the documentation on the web site, and it still seems to reference the old way, not the new way.  I want to add a new rule that applies to all devices, I assume I need to make a rule in the “association ruleset” however, when I select “device in”, I cannot put an “*”, I have to pick individual devices…..

How do I use the new alert checkers?? Are there docs I am missing??

Thanks for your help!
