We don’t really have resources to chase individual applications. There’s already an contributed agent module that collects some data from Asterisk, though I’ve no familiarity with Asterisk and I don’t know what data it collects. (it seems the original contributor Niklas replied just now about this).

 

For low volumes of metrics you can use the custom oid system to collect them from SNMP.

 

There’s an endless list of things that people want to collect data from, so we can’t get to all of them.

There is an asterisk agent file. Have a look at that. Will give you channels / calls and registration numbers I think.
