That won't give you much interesting things except skewed RRD data as the RRD's step is set to 300 seconds, still. What am I missing? :-)

Hi,

There is no way to change polling interval for just a few devices.

You can make a group of device and configure the polling time per group J

usage: poller-wrapper.py [-h] [-w [WORKERS]] [-p [POLLER_ID]] [-s]

                         [-i [INSTANCES]] [-n [NUMBER]]

                         [-g [INCLUDE_GROUPS [INCLUDE_GROUPS ...]]]

                         [-e [EXCLUDE_GROUPS [EXCLUDE_GROUPS ...]]] [-d] [-t]

                         [--host HOST]

                         [process]

Subject: Re: [Observium] Increase polling interval to 10 minutes?

Step One is to check for software uppdates.

The NX-OS 5 and 6 have a horrible SNMP stack, 7+ is much much faster.

Step two is to make sure max-rep is used for the switches and maybe increase it to speed up the polling of these switches.

There is no way to change polling intervall for just a few devices.

I have a few Cisco Nexus switches with over 1k ports/interfaces.

Since it takes quite some time for them to finish polling, is there any way we can increase the polling interval from default 5 minutes to say 10 minutes?  Can we just increase the interval for these few devices, or we have to increase it for all?

Any pointer or documents showing how it can be done?  I'm a bit new to Observium.

Thanks.
