looking on the internet I found this, that is what got me started, also cacti supports it, so I thought observium has it already:

Our use case for the licenses would be that we have a pool of network licenses, for some 12 different products,

we would like to have a better overview of how are they used in time, also when they expire, how many are available, etc,
there are many things we want to see in the licenses.

Netscalers use FlexLM licensing, but it’s not in observium.

What are you trying to achieve by monitoring licenses? When they expire or something? I don’t see a real use for it in Observium.
