I’ve been testing the community edition for a few months and have been pretty impressed. I’m hoping to get the subscription version soon. Even small amounts of money can sometimes be difficult to spend with university bureaucracy.
We have a few NetApp filers. The first is a bit older and is detected correctly and Observium gives quite a bit of useful information about it.
The second is running the newer Clustered OnTap OS, and Observium has no idea what it is, doesn’t recognize it as a NetApp device or assign the correct icon, and doesn’t pull any data from it.
Anyone have any idea if this is more up to date in the subscription version? If the person who wrote the NetApp support is willing, I can try to help out and see if we can figure out what changed.
I think I wrote the existing NetApp support specifically for the older OS. I'm quite sure it hasn't been expanded at all since the CE/SVN split.
Improved NetApp support is planned for the future, though. :)
