I’m admittedly quite the gimp when it comes to Linux and Observium, but I’m learning little by little. I have a custom port group setup to view my VMware network ports (port name / description=VMWare:SomePort).
Several of these links are actually aggregated. In the HP/Aruba world they are Trunks. As far as I know, I cannot throw a description on a virtual port / trunk in HP-land. I wonder, is there a way, without being a PHP-guru to add a particular port to a custom port group when I’m unable to provide a port description? If not, that might be a neat feature at some point.
