Hi Adam & all,
I wasn't really very happy with the previous version of my port edit screen. Latest cut is here: http://gear.dyndns.org/~paulgear/patches/observium-r2002-port-jquery.patch
Screenshot of the old version is here: http://gear.dyndns.org/~paulgear/patches/port-edit-previous.png

The patch adds a few new buttons:
* Reset: reset the form back to the way it was * Alerted: toggle all ports in red status (effectively setting all ports to the "recommended" settings) * Down: select ignore for all down ports (useful for quickly shutting up a noisy switch)
I think these are useful functions, but i'm still not overly fond of the UI. The number of buttons makes it a bit ugly. However, i can't think of any better way to lay it out, and i definitely like having the functionality available.
Any thoughts?
Thanks, Paul
P.S. I'd also suggest moving the uncompressed jquery.js aside and making the compressed version the default.
