[Observium] maybe dumb question about observium itself

Hy all,

i'm using observium to monitor my network devices, i've seen there are applications that could be as well monitored.

are these applications to be maintained or to be dropped ?

i'm evaluating zabbix as well, so just wondering if i should keep both ?
