My apologies if this is not posted to the right place— this question must have been covered many times but the archives of this list don’t seem to be accessible. 

I am looking for how to add an OS for our devices ( https://www.metamako.com ). I found this documentation ( http://www.observium.org/docs/developing/add_os/ ) but it seems to be out of date, since there doesn’t appear to be an includes/definitions/os.inc.php file. There’s a definitions.dat file, but this is a binary. 

Any assistance would be much appreciated. 

Do I need to be paid up for the subscription edition to make contributions? This seems backward as we would be able to promote Observium for use by our customers.
