Windows is well know for not being able to count in these sorts of instances.

We can only be as accurate as the quality of the data exposed to us.

I wouldn't expect this to be correct in SNMP, since they're probably counting using 32bit or something silly.

You can check what values are being reported by the device in SNMP.
