This looks very good. As you said, allmost like a Liunx system. Would it be possible, that you give me your snmpd.conf and snmpdv3.conf of one AIX System? I don't know where I have made a mistake in my configuration...

i don't use net-snmp. I am assuming net-snmp is an RPM ?
I try to use native where possible. The only significant change i have made is use bash v4 over ksh.
