These changes are picked up by the poller, not discovery :)

thanks! Just updated from r8279 to r8296 and the problem is gone. It triggered a change after running the 'discovery -h' with good results;

Appears to be leftover debugging code, and not actually being returned by the device in question!

Hi,
think I found it. When I run the poller for only that switch and other switches (ICX7xxx series), I see this: ##### Module Start: ports ##### o Caching Oids ifEntry ifXEntry ADSL-LINE-MIB EtherLike-MIB dot3StatsDuplexStatus
And this is what I see on a Brocade CER (and in the output of the poller I see descriptions and aliases);
##### Module Start: ports ##### o Caching OIDs ifDescr ifAlias ifName ifType ifOperStatus
So, it looks like something changed in Observium not to using the needed OID's? Or do I look in the wrong direction? Thanks in advance!

finished checking with SNMP. I have the following results (omitted a lot of blanks and private info with //). But nothing showed the mentioned port information stated earlier. Any tips? Maybe removing by hand somewhere in Observium? Thanks in advance!
root@observium:~# snmpwalk -On -v2c -c // 10.200.0.11 |grep 1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18. .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.1 = STRING: "idrac-bay1.//" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.2 = STRING: "bay1.//" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.3 = STRING: "bay1.//" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.4 = STRING: "bay2.//" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.5 = STRING: "bay2.//" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.6 = STRING: "idrac-bay2.//" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.7 = STRING: "veeam1.//" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.8 = STRING: "veaam1.//" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.9 = STRING: "bay3.//" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.10 = STRING: "bay3.//" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.11 = STRING: "wifirouter-am3" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.12 = STRING: "bay4.//.net" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.13 = STRING: "bay5.//.net" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.14 = "" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.15 = "" // .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.267 = "" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.268 = STRING: "bay4.//.net" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.269 = STRING: "bay5.//.net" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.270 = "" .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18.271 = "" // END

I found the following port logs, there where only 3 lines for 1/2/3:

I also tried to disable and enable the port yesterday, but I don't see that in the logs. I am now trying to get the ifalias info from SNMP to test.

If so, its an observium bug. If not, it's a vendor bug reporting incorrect ifAlias.
Adam.

I have two ports in my environment with some tags on it. Observium recognizes it as a Customer and some other details. But the thing is; one port is a stacking port without label (1/2/3, what you don't see), and the other one is disabled and also without a label. Maybe I overlooked something. Never created the labels in the first place. The question: how can I clean this up?
I can remember that this popped up after a upgrade recently, but cannot remember the version of it :(
Running Observium 0.16.11.8262 (27th November 2016) Rolling.
