Single quotes or double quotes on the version number? I've got double on it now, re-ran the file generator and got the semi colons in there so I'm hoping we're all set.
Thanks everyone. I might recommend putting this in the documentation for the rancid config, it would have been helpful.

Daniel, that code does look like it would catch what version of rancid is being used, but either it can't do it by itself or the rancid version is a variable in the observium config file that needs to be set.
