Yes.

 

The issue is the subinterfaces do not show up as Ethernet (ethernetCsmacd)

 

 

Click on one of the subinterfaces, click the “Data” button on the right hand side, and see what the “ifType” is on this device, here’s an Arista for example:

 

 

Whatever that ifType is, add that as an “or” for ifType selection criteria.

You are building your alert’s wrong if it’s not catching the sub interfaces. Share the alert definitions and we can try and help adjust them.
