Hi Toky,

You can use filesystem and MySQL replication to maintain the RRDs and MySQL, and just activate the cron jobs for polling on the second host manually.

Alternatively you can do scheduled backups of MySQL/RRD/etc to a second system and activate this when needed, accepting the data loss between backup and activation.

Since this is effectively just one running system, it’s fine with the single Enterprise license.

Adam,

Subject: [Observium] Observium server redundancy

Hello,

As we need observium service continuity 24/7

can we install another observium in another server with different IP so that if the running one goes down  we make the backup on live?

in this case, what about the license (SVN user/password for Observium Enterprise)

Thank you and Regards,

Toky,
