If i test the bind script on the dns server (observium agent) from the observium server i can see it gets all data. telnet agent-hostname 36602 somehow its looks were i have defined a view in the named.conf it doesnt work.
cat named.stats: ++ Incoming Queries ++ 1667 A 1 NS 267719 PTR 610 AAAA ++ Outgoing Queries ++ [View: internal-in] 93211 A 1657 NS 376870 PTR 110440 AAAA 67302 DS 1709 DNSKEY
telnet hostX 36602 (test from observium) snippet:
<<<app-bind-internal-in>>> query-out,A:94332 query-out,NS:1675 query-out,PTR:384117 query-out,AAAA:111909 query-out,DS:68403
<<<app-bind-global>>> req-in,QUERY:275379 query-in,A:1669 query-in,NS:1 query-in,PTR:273097 query-in,AAAA:612
Result observium: query-in is working, query-out not..
Kind regards, Erik

i just added a bind machine successful to observium. Most of the stats and rrd's are working except for the resolving tab ( and cache content and outgoing queries). Is this because of the lack of stats from my bind? How to investigate this?
the bind machine is just preforming recursion no authoritative zones.
Thanks, Erik
