The world would be a much better place if people stopped hosting their mail with microsoft.

I'd say at this point near enough 100% of mail issues i encounter in every regard are caused by MS's hypercontrolling nonsense on their various platforms.

So you need to edit the security baselines in your tenant or use like I do another mailserver.

If you are using a static IP you can probably set up a send connector without authentication. But I’ve never tested it with Observium.

As SMTP you must use your mx record. Instead of the authentication you allow your IP.

But please be aware that this could also be a security issue. Everyone in your network can send emails on your behalf.
