Observium is designed to have the minimum number of options. Usually our options are situation-specific hacks, and not really intended to be widely used.
Don't go looking for things to twiddle, else they might drop off!

maybe check your config.php that you don't have an entry for $config
['unix-agent']['port'] overriding the system default.
in "includes/defaults.inc.php " the default is listed there. In mine it
is : "$config['unix-agent']['port'] = 36602; // Default agent port"
also the agent port can be overridden in the gui
