Is there an /etc/hosts file entry?
What is the debugging output from the poller?
Changing IPs should be invisible to Observium if it's polling by hostname.

Hello,
i had to change the ip address of one server from 192.168.102.21 to 192.168.102.40. After that the server is shown as down. DNS works so far, dns resolution from observium gives me the new address.
Im sure it is a small problem, but i have no clue. Do i have to make a rediscover and if so how?
THX in advance
