Is there any device that "is rejected without asking" ? - I am thinking of something along the lines that it doesn't fit with what Observium is monitoring - like something that has *nothing* to do with networking....not sure what that will be given it has SNMP :)

Adding support for a new MIB is not a very small task.

You should first inform on what vendor and what kind of device you want support for, then attach the MIB and specifiy what information from the MIB you are interested in.

Please also attach a snmpwalk of your device using this MIB and the device responses to the OID you would like Observium to support.

You might need to be prepared to provide access to the device for Observium devs too.
