Thanks, the issue is that when updating ubuntu 16.04 to the latest version I think it is 22.10 will lose observium and I have to run the program all over again.

Hi, I am assuming that Linux 16.04 is Ubuntu 16.04. In any case, you should upgrade the server to something more recent, which brings a newer version of MariaDB.
