Hello all,

I discovered that i need to set a "override_sysLocation_bool" in the "entity_attribs" table and the "override_sysLocation_string" if i want to use my own location.
My aim is to being able to make a search based on the custom location from the devices screen.
It seems that all the info on the 'devices_location' table is only used by geolocation and then, the map on the main dashboard.

So, i have two question to the gurus :)

- am i correct ?
- is there is a way to have a parameter on global environement that will indicate that all location will be the custom one ?

I will have arround 1500 devices, on which i only have SNMP access. This mean i can't set the location correctly on the SNMP agent BUT, thanks the this great tool, i can set it manually in order to group my devices by locations (arround 250).
I'm going to integrate all the devices via a script, but i need to adjust the location for each of them.

Is there is a difference by changing the location via the web gui VS changing it on the field 'location' on the 'devices_locations' mysql table ?
